Vijay has been associated with the Tata Trusts for 5 years and serving this largest philanthropic organization on various roles as a program manager, directly dealing with communities to heading the office of the Chief Operations Officer- to work with senior leadership in order to operationalize the Mission of the organization. He is currently the Executive Director of CML and also Zonal Head of North East India for Tata Trusts. He comes with 18 years of work experience in socio- business space, specializing in the areas of finance, operations and organisation strategy. He has unrelenting zeal to take up challenging roles in the areas of Business Strategy, Innovation, Cost Control and Program Success.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Mr. Sanjay Singh is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for CML. After completing his graduation from Christian College, Lucknow in 1982, he joined Tata Tea Ltd in the Tea Plantations of Assam. In 2007, Mr. Singh joined the newly created Amalgamated Plantations (A Tata Enterprise) at the estates and was later transferred to the corporate office at Guwahati as General Manager in-charge of Production at the company estates of Assam & Bengal, Packet Tea Operations, R & D and Agribusiness. Mr. Singh attained superannuation in year 2020 after serving for over 36 years in the Tea Industry. Mr. Singh during his tenure in Assam was closely associated with and has held several important portfolios at the Tea Research Association and the Indian Tea Association. Mr. Singh manages and monitors program operations at CML in association with the Executive Director.
Loushambam Jitendro Singh
Regional Manager (Manipur & Tripura)
Dr Loushambam Jitendro Singh is the Regional Manager-Manipur and Tripura. Dr Jitendro has a PhD in Ecology and Environmental Sciences from Assam University, Silchar. Prior to joining Tata Trusts, he was with the North East Rural Livelihoods Project (NERLP), a joint project of the World Bank and MDoNER, Government of India. Dr Jitendro has also been associated with GB Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development from at various capacities of Research and Development.Prior to this, his work on the North Eastern Region Community Resource Management Project for Upland Areas (NERCORMP), a joint project of IFAD and the Government of India is also remarkable. He is a seasoned professional having a diverse and rich experience of more than 18 years in Research and Development, Implementation and organizational processes of functioning and administration.
